Hello and welcome! My name is Regina and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) dedicated to helping individuals and couples create meaningful, lasting change in their lives so they can live with conviction and passion. I integrate various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) which allow us to explore both conscious and unconscious patterns that shape emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and importantly, relationships.
Relationships can be an area where we experience life’s most incredible highs and lows. The deep satisfaction and joy of connection can turn into incredible sorrow, frustration and pain as the many tendrils of a previously felt connection are frayed, worn thin and broken from unresolved conflict. The diverse experiences of our lives lead us to have differences in perspectives, styles of communication, and expectations of what love should be. However, these conflicts can also be opportunities for growth and transformation within the relationship, and can become a healthy part of our connection to each other that allows us to feel closer to one another. I use Emotionally Focused Therapeutic (EFT) interventions that facilitate a discovery and exploration of our unmet needs that lie beneath these conflicts. My Psychodynamic and Humanistic approach invites couples to safely explore the problematic patterns in their relationship and move toward chosen, more intentional ways of interaction that can facilitate renewal and regrowth in the bonds and love that connect them.
I deeply believe that happiness, joy, and peace are a human birthright, and my goal is to help you find these qualities in your life. By working together, we can identify the obstacles and problematic patterns that may be preventing you from living a more fulfilling existence, whether they be related to anxiety, relationship struggles, past trauma, or self-esteem issues. Together we can work to empower you to shift negative patterns, find and embrace your inner strengths, and cultivate resilience and self-compassion along the way.
